I don't know if this is just a weird Scottish superstition or if its general New Year's tradition, but last night I took down all of our 2008 calendars and didn't put up the 2009 calendars until after midnight. Mark asked why and I said, "Because my mom said so."
I now have a scrapbooking day-by-day calendar on my desk and a gardening calendar on the fridge. But if I had room for one more calendar in our house it would be this one....
I just adore William Wegman and his cute puppies.

Happy New Year! I went to the dollar store yesterday to pick up a calendar since January is pretty booked already. At least I will be where I am supposed to be, now. (Hopefully!)
And...It's always good to "listen to your Mom". :)
